Training for work in confined spaces.
Target group
For professionals who may need to carry out rescue and evacuation of workers in confined spaces or spaces underground. The difference to conventional rescue methods is that this has a very limited operating space and people are often forced to carry out the rescue upwards. This training gives you knowledge of various techniques for rescue / evacuation of rescue equipment, ropes and rope systems. The course teaches techniques for rescue when you do not have rescue equipment on hand. This may mean creating rescue scenarios with rope and pulleys, using counterbalance rescues or other methods that require more handling and exercise.
Course Goals
Participants should be able to perform a rescue when damaged by an accident or acute illness, be able to select appropriate equipment and have knowledge of risk analysis and emergency plans.
