New COO for our Wind operations

Please join me in welcoming our newest member in our wind organization – Lars Kårlin. Lars joined us 11 May and will take on the role as responsible for operations in our business area Wind. His technical background and experience of leading successful teams fits perfect with our strategy moving forward. Lars is based in Göteborg and he will introduce himself with his own word in the text below. We wish him all the best in his new role and again a warm welcome to us.

Niklas Andersson
CEO Rope Access Sverige AB

Lars Kårlin
During the past 10 years and some I have been working primarily in offshore survey (lots of oil/gas sector and renewables). Quite a few similarities to this business can be seen as I am sure many of you can relate to having also worked offshore yourself, and I hope that my experience from that sector can help me learn the business in an efficient manner here at Rope Access.

As a person I am in favor of honesty, transparency and mutual respect for one another. I believe that we are all equally worth, no matter origin, gender, race, religion or sexual preference, and I will actively work to ensure this mindset is maintained in all operations under the Rope Access flag and elsewhere in my surroundings. Born and raised near Östersund, got 2 kids (6 & 8yo), enjoy quite a bit both mtn biking and trailrunning and I have a good sense of humor.

Covid-19

Dear customer or business partner,

The global public health response to COVID-19 is ramping up in our region. In order to protect our employees, our suppliers, our customers and business partners but also in the greater interest of ensuring a safe and healthy global community, Rope Access Sverige is taking the following precautions.

What we are doing

  • Rope Access Sverige is monitoring the situation closely and following the guidelines provided by the World Health Organization, International SOS and other national health authorities.
  • We enforce employee travel restrictions to the following currently defined “Red Zone” countries – China, Iran, Italy, Japan and South Korea.
  • Employees who are displaying flu symptoms or who pose a risk of contamination to others are as always encouraged to stay home.
  • Customers and instructors participating in our planned trainings are obliged to answer questions regarding their travel pattern and self-assess their state of health prior to the training sessions.

What we expect from you

  • We ask you to ensure that you have not travelled to or from areas or countries with current travel restrictions in the past 14 days.
  • We ask you to closely monitor information from health authorities, follow guidelines given from them and inform us if your situation changes in advance of any training or meeting with our employees.

We will keep you updated in case additional restrictions need to be implemented as well as regarding changes to the list of restricted countries.
