Target Group

For professionals working on a mast or pole over 13m high. This training will give you the knowledge of safety rules and standards for mast work, to work safely and effectively with personal protective equipment and the removal of injured colleagues from the mast.
The course is designed for and in accordance with AFS 2000:6.

Course Goal

The participant will after the course, have knowledge of safety rules and standards for mast work. Participants will also be able to work safely and effectively with their personal protective equipment and handle various types of rescues of colleagues, depending on their work environment.

Course Content

  • Laws and regulations
  • Health/Work Plan, risk analysis, training, work planning
  • Information on risk
  • Suspension trauma, calculation of safe working height, the use of fall protection
  • Different methods
  • Save and rescue vehicles, scenarios depending on work environment and materials. first accident response
  • Equipment
  • Specific evacuation equipment (SafEscape, Milan), anchors, hooks steps, lanyards, fixed systems
  • Techniques
  • Climbing Technique, rescue of participants on rope or cable systems, removal of injured persons from the mast

LOCATION

The training is conducted at a customer site or in any of our training facilities.
